Worked as an engineer for IBM, Xerox and other companies for ten years before starting her career as a stand up comic.
Graduated from Prairie View A&M University in Texas with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
She was born & raised in the Brewster-Douglass Housing Projects in Detroit, Michigan.
