Andy is left handed and ambidextrous. He is a certified fire fighter. He learned how to fly before he could drive. He was a ranch hand while in high school. His barbershop quartet once opened for the 50s music group, the Drifters. He also taught himself how to play the clarinet, saxophone, guitar, piano, accordion and violin.
