(1989) Salman Khan signed Akaanksha Films "Pyar Ka Tarana". Written by Suroor- Subhash, Lyrics by Anand Bakshi, Music by Amar Utpal, Produced by Gopal Bharatiya, Directed by Deepak Bahry. The title was then changed to "Dilruba" due to Dev Anand having the rights to the title "Pyar Ka Tarana". The project kept getting delayed then shelved. Finally the film was restarted in 1995 with Sunil Shetty and Tabu. More unknown problems occurred and the film was finally shelved. The project was revived by Chander Sharma in 2001 who rewrote the story and added new actors to the project. Sunil Shetty did not co operate to finish the film. It wad released as Khanjar (2003).

(2006/2011) Arbaaz starred in shelved movie Shivalaya Media Entertainments "Do Aur Do Paanch". Starring Arbaaz Khan,Vishaka Singh,Shweta Malhotra, Diwaker Pundir, Nazir Kazi, Vrijesh Hirjee,Surendra Pal, Razzak Khan, Special Appearance by Salman Khan,Produced and Directed by Abhijit Sengupta.

(2001) Salman Khan and Sohail Khan were planning to make the film "Goli" with E.Niwas. Amrita Arora was signed for the lead role. It was based on by D-company shooter, Feroz Konkani. But when Ram Gopal Verma heard about the project,he wanted to direct Salman himself in his own film. Not wanting to offend his mentor, E.Niwas backed out of the the film. Salman did not want to do a film with Ram Gopal Varma. Goli was never made.

(2001) Sohail Khan had signed Kailash Sundernath to direct Salman for a love story. The film was called off.
