Was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, undergoing a lumpectomy and three weeks of radiotherapy. She went on to make a full recovery.

[on acting, 2011] As long as you don't lose your marbles, you can do it forever. It keeps me feeling young. I've always looked younger than my age, which isn't always the best thing in this profession, especially if they're looking for someone to play a toothless old crone!
