Producer Chad A. Verdi had already assembled a memorable cast for his current project, Army of the Damned, but the man behind Woodhaven Productions refuses to rest on his laurels.

Verdi has now added former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis and the infamous Jasmine St. Claire to the project.

Everyone has a favorite wrestling diva, but it is this writer's opinion that there has never been a more drop-dead gorgeous creature to enter the squared circle than Maria Kanellis. She is absolutely stunning, and as you can see by the still shot from Army of the Damned below, she's got no trouble getting into the action of a bloody horror film.

Kanellis and St. Claire are added to a very interesting cast. Verdi stated, "We have a very eclectic group of actors on this project: horror legends, rock and pop stars, TV and wrestling superstars, Playboy Playmates and the list goes on.

All children of 80's horror will certainly remember Blood Beach and Blood Diner, and now the good people at Graffiti Playhouse Productions bring us a vision of the undead invading a tourist-soaked ski resort entitled Blood Lodge. Again, for those of you, like me, who cut your teeth on 80's films, think Return of the Living Dead meets Hot Dog...The Movie, indie style.

Very little is available on Blood Lodge thus far. You can see the official trailer below or at the Blood Lodge website. And the film's Facebook page indicates that Vincent Pastore (that would be Big Pussy from "The Sopranos") and Jasmin St. Claire (that would be the porno Hall of Famer who rose to fame after a "Springer" appearance where she bragged about her film World's Biggest Gang Bang 2 (a sequel to the critically-acclaimed original), in which she sexually pleasured 300 men in a 24-hour period).

The event, "Zombies Invade the Pines", will be at Six Packs Pub, 4180 White Horse Pike in Mullica Township. General admission is $20; $15 for those dressed in zombie costumes. Attendees will have a chance to meet the cast of the film, in addition to Joel Reed, director of the 1976 horror-exploitation film "Blood Sucking Freaks," who is co-producing "Blood Lodge.

The upcoming horror/comedy Blood Lodge has just been announced and is being described as Zombieland meets Dazed and Confused.
