'Skater Girl' is a film about a woman from London who travels to a small Indian village to learn more about her late father's childhood. She meets up with an old friend who is teaching in a village nearby - when the kids in the village discover her friend's skateboard, they become obsessed. Jessica decides to nourish their interest in a new activity by building a skatepark in the village and giving the kids a chance to learn the sport. Jessica forms a special relationship with a young girl in the village, who is conflicted between what her parents want for her and her newfound love of skating.

(1956), Solva Saal (1958), Kala Bazar (1960), Baat Ek Raat Ki (1962) and Guide (1965). Two were flops: Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja (1961) and Prem Pujari (1970).
