It's part of Wes Anderson's style to leave the story at a point where things have concluded but not completely. This movie does that exactly but quite imperfectly. The story just isn't there. There's a bit of Wes Anderson charm to it but it doesn't fulfill it to completion, I get that the message is irrationality is part of life and it doesn't always have explanation or meaning behind it but the implementation of this vague concept didn't really go well. The Story could've been better sadly. I liked the characters but they lacked depth.
The problem was that there were too many characters and since time got divided among all of them, the story and character building all together got weaker.

Like all good stories, this one is highly relatable in the sense that we all carry some baggage with us. It comes in all shapes and sizes. It feels essential until we face a moment of realization that changes everything... yet somehow, it doesn't. The train might change, the baggage might be left behind, yet life goes on with its own rhythm.
The way the characters acted so irrationally and impulsively throughout the movie really aligns with how people tend to behave on a spiritual journey. Buying a snake, canceling tickets at the last moment, these choices seem so rational in the moment, yet are clearly irrational. It just resonates in a way that feels unbelievably accurate.
Loved the movie. Would definitely recommend it.
