I haven't read the book, that is my only sin. Maybe all critics did, who knows. Critics are Gods (as they think). Madonna's acting is not as organic as in "Seeking Susan", but by today's cut and paste standarts she played well. I think Madonna is perfect cast for Missionary nurse: she is catholic and she had wild past! China Doll emperor prostitute is gorgeous - she deserves 10 out of 10, Amen. Sean Penn is a funny guy. George Harrison's songs are cute and interesting, but not epic. Comparing to "No more lonely nights" by Sir Paul, for example. But I'm not objective due to my huge music theory background. Of course it's only my opinion, it means nothing. (You hear me, critics? If my opnion means nothing, your opinion means nothing too) Great costumes, fantastic sets, 1937 breathes through screen. Easy detective romantic comedy. Love wins, it's all that matters.

First of all, I want to apologise to all "wise" and experienced viewers, for not following your advices/direct orders of avoiding Inhumans at all costs! I'm really sorry, I'm not worthy of your eternal wisdom and godlike perfectly good taste. For example, Your Majesty says that dialogs in this show are awful, so I must comply and agree with your opinion under the consequnces of being labeled as imbecile, worshiper of bad taste and garbage enthusiast. But I refuse, Your Highness. Dialogs in this show are sterling and natural (sic). There is even a line where main Antagonist mocks the "I...I...I'm..." cliche parasite that invaded even big budget Emmy winning products which have 8/10 raitings. And since the main protagonist is mute, I have no problems with small amount of words disturbing the silent beauty of Hawaii. Ok, now serious. I don't find Inhumans corny, boring and bad. You may not like it, but telling other people to avoid it? Some people fell asleep on the pilot episode, but not me. Some people said there are no likeable characters - I liked them all. I consider Inhumans a good TV show and give it 10/10, because the raiting is too low in my subjective opinion. Of course, I would like more seasons, but if Your Majesty insists, I will find my joy somewhere else.

Once again - it's too damn short! I know it's zero budget and etc, but I was spoiled by classic masterful B-movies and sydicated long running TV shows.

Pros:

• Some scenes are beautiful (riding through landscapes, knife fight and shootoot with mexicans),
• The continuation of story and lore (I like when characters remember what they said earlier),
• Cynthia and Don had nice little roles,
• It's kind of campy (sometimes, it's a plus for me),
• I can't deny that Joe Cornet gets better with directing and acting.

Have I told you it was too short? In my perfect world of dreams these characters (Ivan Turchin and Co.) have a TV show of 3 seasons 22 episodes each. I give it 10 out of 10 because Alexander Nevsky is controversial figure and amount of professional haters is pretty large. For me Alexander is a man who tought me through his books to avoid any steroids in sports. Looking forward for more sequels.
