Recently (April 2022) a very fine actress was quoted as giving one of the most incredible reviews of "critics" that I have ever read: "Critics absolutely serve no purpose". I could not agree more, and those critical of this film are a perfect case in point. Truly one of the finest films ever, in all respects. All of the actors give fine performances, and it is the work of Bryce Dallas Howard that truly left me breathless. My only sorrow is that she has not been given subsequent vehicles worthy of her amazing talent.

Just adding a little bit here, as all the other POSITIVE review of this movie are spot on. One of my favorite scenes, later in the movie, comes when the main character meets his "wife", whom he does not or barely remembers, and her new boyfriend. He invites the boyfriend outside for a "talk" and what ensues is, to me, one of the funniest scenes in the movie. Watch for it.

Weaving the range of emotions felt before and during the always stressful interview process, magnified by a glitchy app, this short piece with an absolutely delightful delineation by Danielle Dallas Roosa was a real treat for the eyes and mind. Hope to see much more of this refreshingly REAL individual. Her work with "Back to Space" is also highly intriguing and commendable.

Negative stars not available, so cannot accurately rate how incredibly BAD this movie is. Please, believe all the "negative" comments and one-star ratings and DO NOT under any circumstances watch this train-wreck. Well, maybe, and that is a huge maybe, if you are stoned out of your mind and just do not have anything better to do. A laugh a second, unintended of course.

The show has been well reviewed here already, so I do not need to add to that. However, there was one comment about the talent of Alan Tudyk not being recognized ..."since A Knight's Tale". Well - that was way back in 2001 and even just a cursory glance at his filmography since that time would certainly indicate otherwise. SEVERAL pages long on this website. For fans of Resident Alien, I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching a movie, in which he co-stars along with Tyler Labine (another under-rated actor) called: "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil". One of the craziest, funniest, most heart-warming films I have seen in a looooooong time. There IS blood and gore, sure, but only in service to the insane premise of the movie: two sweet as apple-pie hillbillies against a squad of clueless college kids. Get it - see it.

Simply do not understand the "hate" for the lead character (female doctor) played by the lovely and talented Paloma Bernardi. A woman lead character thinking/knowing she is the most intelligent one in any situation - heaven forbid!

Could watch her in anything. Sure, "suspension of disbelief" is a firm requirement when watching this, but that could be said of almost anything that is out there these days. Worth a watch, mostly unpredictable and fun.

As others have noted, the audio for this show can be absolutely horrible at times. I like the show itself and hope the network stays with it and allows it to develop a following. The real reason for this review is to ask the question: WHERE DID ALL THE EXCELLENT SOUND ENGINEERS GO? Despite the fact that our house features a very good surround sound system, we find ourselves CONSTANTLY trying to adjust the sound level. The music and special effects are often TOO LOUD, and the dialog is, VERY OFTEN, unintelligible. A good sound engineer would know how to FIX THIS - regardless of how the original audio was generated. WHY must we continue to put up with BAD AUDIO???

Right about there in the middle, this series is simply OK. The acting is OK, the script writing is OK, the production values are OK. Basically, everything about this series is OK. So, watch it for the sheer OK-ness of it and realize that it is very much in stark contrast to so much of the dreck that is out there today. Well, one more OK thing about this series is that so far (only up to episode 6) there have not been any overt or even veiled references to anything political. Refreshing!! A series to render you comfortably numb anytime you desire such a state.

OK people, really all that needs to be said about this and all the negative reviews is: GET - OVER - YOURSELVES. This is not a sci-fi show, it is not really a laugh out loud comedy (although there are some moments of spot-on satire), it is not a deep-thinking commentary on current events - what it IS...is ENTERTAINMENT. Taken as such, it does hit all the notes fairly well without trying to be all things to all people. No spoilers here, just approach it with an open mind (yes, obviously, somewhat difficult for many of you who trashed this show). One of the main themes of the show seems to be the difficulties encountered when we are too full of ourselves and view the world through a too-narrow lens. Take this to heart. Binge-watched all 10 episodes.
