Wow.

I knew it was low budget and would likely have rough spots but this was much worse than I was prepared for.

The actors are quite unskilled and watching their performances were uncomfortable and absolutely unbelievable. Very hard to watch.

The set is boring. Just a few barn stalls.

The horror and gore is blah torture performed by a giggling wanna be hard ass. There are injuries inflicted that seemingly vanish between scenes and actors act like they never even happened.

The music is loud at times and what they played in the strip club was garbage.

This was a fail in my opinion.

I say pass.

Much can be said about the list of sequels that ride the coat tails of their outstanding predecessors. Some shouldn't exist, some are ok and some are good enough to compete with or overshadow the original work. This falls into the ok category and after waiting all these years it's easy to see why so many folks are disappointed.

Should this film exist? Not really BUT... if for nothing else, it's fun for the nostalgia.

The story is sorta all over the place. It's coherent and easy enough to follow but some situations just made me want to scratch my head and ask why it was part of the film at all.

Of course Michael Keaton is the star here and who we all want to see. His performance wasn't as enthusiastic, physical or menacing as the original. I guess that should be expected seeing as so many years have gone by.

The practical and CGI effects were good but, IMO, HD filming doesn't do any favors for practical effects and makeup. It tends to make the effects look cheesy and the makeup reveals every wrinkle and imperfection.

Everything is far more noticeable.

I won't deny my disappointment but I also won't deny that I enjoyed seeing Beetlejuice on screen again.

Is it recommendable? Sure. If you loved the original, check it out but don't go into thinking this film is going to be a huge hit. It does have problems that no fan could deny. Watching it was a blast from the past and I don't think it's garbage. It's just less than I had hoped for.

Not an awful documentary but strangely portrays the situation as a Romeo and Juliet meets Bonnie and Clyde love story.

I don't doubt that Vicky White cared deeply for Casey but I can't believe Casey reciprocated her feelings.

Casey White is a manipulator. He found a weakness in Vicky that he used in an attempt to get him out spending the rest of his life in prison. People like him are skilled in finding the most vunerable and know how to play the game.

I think it is a tragedy that Vicky's legacy as a steller employee was completely ruined the instant she gave in to her emotions. She simply should've known better.

Decent documentary.
