So I only watched the first two episodes, and so far I found it to be good enough.
The Cordelia character is thought to be a modern Sherlock Holmes, cocky and confident for a reason, and I really liked the way she reacts to the other characters' nonsense and how she keeps a straight face. The conversation with the president's mother in law was very funny. The rest of the characters are over-the-top and some are funnier than others (some seem to be 'trying too hard' to be a stereotype). Loved the mention of Benoit Blanc and the Cocodrile Dundee references.
In general, though, it is light-hearted fun. Also loved the Australian 'fun' and most important, the 'clues' are interesting enough to keep me interested in watching more episodes. Let's see...

I was very familiar with the story because I had seen the film, read the "Alive!" book and visited the "Andes 1972" museum in Montevideo.
But nothing had prepared me to the experience of seeing this movie.
It is excellent, a true tale of the fortitude of human spirit and team work. The title, "the society", is well chosen, because they survived the impossible only because they work helping each other.
I was also lucky to be able to watch the film in Spanish, and having chosen Uruguyan / Argentinean actors proves to be an excellent choice and adds to the realism.
The cinematography is amazing, the beauty of the mountains shown with its cruelty at the same time.
A movie I will remember for a long, long time.

This film portrayes life in a simple, realistic and moving way.
It is a beautiful story about the importance of teaching, and it develops without oversensitive tricks.
It might seem simple but it is this simplicity which makes it realistic and captivating.
In the movie there are deaths and difficulties which are part of real life, and it shows how characters adapt and deal with life without heroic events.
What is heroic is, as Mrs. Georgina says, "life a good life", and I ended up crying at the end, with some characters leading a good life, others dying too young, and others having the courage to change and do something meaningful.
Highly recommeded, specially if you can see it in the original Spanish version.
