Extremely clunky dialog, stuff people don't actually say in real life. Weird scene transitions, bad ADR, and bad CGI. The end of the last season was undone in 2 minutes, characters behave in ways they didn't before. Every trope you could possibly imagine is used, I mean literally everything. It genuinely feels like it was written by Chat GPT.
I can't get past episode 6, I am unbelievably tired of the same formula where characters problems solely come them failing to communicate. Which was honestly fine at first, people fail to do that in real life. But as the show went on it didn't change, in fact it got worse. Real human beings tend to learn from their mistakes, but when writers can't decide what to do characters automatically get neuralized and forget it ever happened, because the writer needed to stir up some drama and couldn't think of an intelligent way to do it.
That's not to say it's bad, the acting is phenomenal and the cinematography is as well. But the plot is just awful.
Watch this show if you hate yourself, if you don't. I wouldn't recommend it.

The movie is bad, and not even good bad just bad. It's just 2 hours of flashbacks, cliches, and toilet humor that even 12 year olds would roll their eyes at.
They make some pretty massive decisions in the first 5 minutes that completely undermine the entire arc of the first movie and destroy any semblance of happiness these characters had.
If Sandler wasn't who he is this would be unwatchable.

Nathan has done it once again, I will not go into spoilers here but somehow Nathan manages to surprise you every episode and this is no different. Whatever you are thinking he might do next you're almost always certain to be wrong. I don't really know what more to say, this is the peak of TV.
Wake me up inside (I can't wake up) wake me up inside (Save me) call my name and save me from the dark (Wake me up) bid my blood to run (I can't wake up) before I come undone (Save me) save me from the nothing I've become

To avoid spoilers I'll just touch on a few bullet points here of the issues that I had with this episode.
*Poor Writing/cliche dialog
*Bad Pacing/Directing
*Sloppy CGI
*Bad acting
This seems like it was slapped together in a few months with no real thought, Mark Ruffalo is really phoning this one in too. I've always been a fan of his take on Hulk but he's not even trying here. It sounds like he went into a studio for an hour or two and just recorded some lines.
I'm going to try to keep and open mind with the rest of this series but it's not off to a good start.

Not to get into spoilers, but I feel this episode was made for you to sympathize with her character. But for me it had the opposite effect, Karen was not a good person. The entitlement she shows in the episode really turns me away from her character.
First of let me just say I was pleasantly surprised about Robbert Pattison's portrayal of Batman. When I saw that he was cast I didn't think he fit the role. But I've never been more happy to be proven wrong, and I'd love to see more of Pattinson as Batman.
The cinematography was also top notch, better than anything I've seen in a long time. The design of the suit, the sets, and the bat mobile we're just awesome.
Now for the bad stuff, I always enjoy a longer movie but they probably could've cut about 20-30 minutes of content and it would've improved the film. Don't get me wrong the slow pacing is good but some of the scenes just felt unnecessarily drawn out. The writing was good in the first half, but the third act didn't do it for me.

The actress playing Rosa is genuinely terrible, her "southern" accent sounds like she has oenit butter in her mouth the entire time,
Honestly how hard is it to just get an American actress to play the role instead of having Brit trying to imitate one of the greats.

I'm on another rewatch of the show and just got to series 11 again, it's truly incredible how far the quality fell in such a short period of time.
The music is just dull now and isn't moving at all.
The shots are filmed so strangely it looks like a fan made episode.
The new Tardis interior is just... Bad, I've never really realized how horrible this new one was until my rewatch.
I hope the show will return to its former glory under RTD but so much of the creative talent is gone.

Seriously? You call this an ending? This doesn't even feel like an ending to a season finale let alone an entire series.
I love this show so damn much and you go and butcher the ending.

This review is a bit pre-mature as I've yet to finish but here's a few stand outs of the game so far.
Parkour - This a major step up the from Dying Light 1. It takes everything you know and love about Dying Light's parkour and turns it up to 11. This is certainly the best parkour system I've seen in a fist person game.
Environment - While there are a few issues the environment is near perfect, everything has been designed around the parkour element so you'll always find a path on the rooftops of where you need to go.
Graphics - They are a major upgrade from the first game but for a 2022 game it does suffer is some areas. The lighting is not as good as most games nowadays and when you use the flashlight no shadow is cast. But my main issue with the graphics is the NPC's. The faces are very cartoony and the facial animation overall is not acceptable for a game released in 2022. With that said the story is not a major part of the Dying Light franchise so it is not a huge impact on the overall enjoyment of the game.
Performance - This is a bit of a mixed bag, the graphics settings are very limited so it's difficult to tweak it for optimal performance. It's not terrible but it's not great either. With my 1070ti and 9700k with 32gb of ram I was running at about 35-45 fps @1440p on medium to low settings. The game is poorly optimized and mid level systems will struggle to run it. But there is a solution, there is an option to lower the tender resolution then upscale it with post processing.
This takes my fps from about 40 to over 100, the downside is with a lower render resolution textures become blurry.
Combat - Combat has both improved and declined since the release of Dying Light 1. Human vs Human combat has significantly improved since the first game, the flow is much nicer and more defined than before. But Player vs zombie combat has taken a hit, the rag dolls that were in the previous game were pretty incredible. Hit a zombie in the leg and he falls over, kick them and they'll fly backwards and fall on the ground. Kick them into someone spikes and they'll go right through the zombie. Unfortunately with Dying light 2 the rag doll is almost nonexistent. Instead if plays one of several pre-canned animations depending on where you hit a zombie. This is fine at first but becomes very repetitive and apparent it's just repeating the same animations instead of the dynamic rag dolls in Dying Light 1.
Story - I will not be going over this as it's spoiler free and I've yet to finish it.
Conclusion - Overall this is a great sequel and addition to the Dying Light franchise, some of the things that I've mentioned can be fixed post launch and I sincerely hope that Techland does fix them as this has potential to be one of the best games of 2022.

This episode was fantastic, it was an amazing season finale and wrapped up the 2 season arc perfectly. But this doesn't really feel like a series finale, there's so much we still don't know and I want to see more of these characters I love them so damn much.
I really hope this is not the end of The Expanse, maybe a movie? Or a mini-series down the line? This show is just too good to be cut off at 6 seasons.
Please don't let this be the end.

Is this a great movie? No not really, but it is a very enjoyable movie to watch that has been memed to all hell for good reason. There are a lot of interesting directing choices in this film but I've never seen anything else's like it.
10/10 would watch again.

I'm not sure how anyone could watch this entire episode without getting tears in their eyes. They did a great job at capturing some amazing moments in history.
Like for real, I hate them. So much to the point where I was considering skipping this episode entirely. It just breaks the realism for me when they do musical episodes. It doesn't make any sense, but he way they did this was fantastic.
Paul Rudd is the only redeeming quality of this show, the jokes aren't funny and the directing is very strange. The lack of Paul Rudd in this episode made it nearly unwatchable.
What more can I say? I love this show, it's seriously good. The music choices are excellent, the set pieces are awesome, and the acting is top notch. Another great episode.
