This is an almost entirely fictional movie about Little Richard. Well-known facts were changed but it made this movie less interesting. One big thing is while it has been known Richard was gay in real life, this movie goes out of its way to hint at, but never admit he was gay. That just made this movie weird. Throughout, there was a Christian influenced scene about every ten minutes. While it played in NBC, the TV network, I wonder if they intended it to play on a christian TV channel.
The acting was okay. Leon plays Richard and this was his third time portraying a real-life singer in a movie. It just was a lousy script that chose to ignore the real Little Richard. My recommendation is watch something else.

Since they answer the question in the title (Was I a sex object?) in the first 5 minutes, you don't need to watch the rest of the episode. In fact, you could skip it entirely. The rest is a confusing mess at least to an American.
Early on they talk about all the nudity on Spanish TV and particularly Telecinco in the 1990's. Yet the only actual nudity is a 3 second boob slip on one TV special. Every time after they talk about nudity being broadcasted but show footage that could be American TV in the same (early 1990's) era. A lot that is mentioned as being scandalous could have been on the daytime American game show The Price is Right. Bikinis, short skirts & long gowns. So what is being said by the interviewees doesn't match to the content shown. They blur out a lot of faces in the old footage & could have blurred out nudity if any really existed to give some context. Or maybe it was a lie to get you to watch.
The interviews are really just several people, mainly women that appeared on the show talking about their experiences. The interviews all take place at a closed studio or a storage room with poor lighting. No idea why but it looks awful. In the middle of this episode is several of the interviewees dancing sort of, in a dark doorway. Huh?
For a documentary, I learned basically nothing. I looked up some things mentioned on Wikipedia and learned more. Maybe the next episode will be better but I have my doubts.

A man who blogs & reviews about movies leaves one theater and stops at another theater playing Isla (a real classic film) from 1985. The theater ends up being sleazy with men, women & transvestites offering personal service in the theater. In the meantime, Lorna is stuck with no money and a baby needing milk so ends up at the theater looking for a "temporary job." The two connect in a love for Isla & films. Where will they go from there?
This is a Vivamax show that has some nudity and sex scenes. But the characters & story are excellent. Azi Acosta as Lorna showed she has some acting talent with a character that has some depth. I think the fact the two main characters had depth is a factor why this film/show works. They even get into a bit of movie trivia.
I fully expected a mediocre softcore sex story but this was recommended to me. Most of the sex is actually in the background by unnamed characters. So plenty of breasts but more story & dialogue than most Vivamax productions. I have yet to watch the 3 other episodes but the first really surprised me. You don't have to be a fan of softcore sex movies to enjoy this. Highly recommended.
