Acting, actors (human and otherwise), the settings - all excellent. Especially during these times where someone with an accent is to be feared, even hated, you can't help but to love Rosa and her spirit.

I am going to be on the lookout for more of Elena's work in the future, as her delivery is soo00o believable. It's not often that I smile along with someone in a video, but Elena compels you to be a part of the story. And there is so much story in such a short time-frame. (Not enough for a feature length film, but just right for this short, so we'll have to be satisfied.) And satisfied I was.

Yes, wow! They ought to give you an award if you're able to sit through this whole monstrosity. The effects, for the time, were great. Unfortunately, it's an Arthur C Clark story. I can see why druggies went to see this movie. I, in fact, could use some serious medication after wasting this bit of my life. The best option for this film is to destroy all copies of it and pretend it was never made. Better yet, let's seal it up on a black rectangular box and launch it into space - maybe the moon, or possibly Jupiter.

Wait, I've got it: replace the entire soundtrack with polka music. Watch this movie, and you'll agree with me.

Do you ever watch a movie and say, "If only I could edit this?" This is one of those pictures. I would pare it down to 90 minutes, completely removing scenes like the piano in the ballroom during the storm. I would also shorten some of the drawn-out scenes. Otherwise, visually, this was quiet nice. The sets were great, although the SFX really showed their age (some 24 years later).

I hope I am not calling attention to a disability, but Vince's rapid eye movement was very distracting. Tim Roth and Clarence Williams' performances were both commendable.

Unfortunately, this is not one of those movies that I will watch again.
