Oh my, this was really bad. Why is Tarzan in Mexico? At least there should be jungles in Central America.. Africa has plains, no jungles. Tarzen movies stretch ones imagination to believe a scanty clan European can survive Africa landscape. I agree, the is the worst one of the Tarzan movies. Everybody was phoning in their performances.
The so- call natives are Mexicans decent and add nothing to the story other than background fillers. There is no tension or excitement. Even George Zucco who plays great villians gives a flat performance. " Boy" is away at school ( will they give him a proper name)This lands like a dud. Skip this one.

While watching this there was something very familiar. The actor reminds me of William Conrad, who protrayed Matt Dillion in the radio version of Gunsmoke. He also starred in TV Jake and the Fatman and Cannon, another TV detective show. In the movie, the character using his large girth to his advantage, especially in the dance scene with Julie London. Oh, I almost forgot Roy is played by Rock Hudson. You can see what made him a super star later on. By the way Rock real name was Roy. The movie uses flashbacks focusing on Rock. I think the creators knew they had a future star. The show is a ok watch if you don't have anything better to do.
While watching this movie it reminded me of Kolchack, The Night Stalker, the music, the plot. I'm seriously thought it was made by the same folks. Looking up the credits I didn't see anyone who worked on both shows. That said the movie is so similar the lead even drives a Mustang like Carl Kolchack. The music, the acting the script screams 70's horror schlock. Instead of a newspaper reporter, like Kolchack ,the lead now is a private investigator. Some of the actors even appeared on Kolchack series. Donna Mills and Patty Dukes as twins, come on that makes no sense ha. The plot is far fetch like Kolchack. I'm wondering why someone wasn't sued for copyright infringement.
