If you're looking for something fun and entertaining with a good screenplay and interesting dialogues, this is it, at least amidst the current shows. What is challenging for parallel world dramas is making them believable without overdoing it and discerning the god-like powers of the scriptwriter from the protagonists' own will, thought, and action. I really enjoyed the K-drama 'Extraordinary You' and several other C-dramas that share the same theme. This one definitely is among the other successfully entertaining shows, with great acting and minimally unnecessary narratives.

Myth, culture, mysticism, and contemporary environmental issues-which aren't often discussed-are nicely interwoven in this supernatural romance drama. What I couldn't ignore and absolutely loved was their usage of the tribal language, which they even managed to incorporate in one of their OSTs. Instead of using the majority language, they chose to inculcate the language from which the script borrowed all their interesting myths and stories, which helped maintain the tone of mysticism in the plot.

I loved the acting and cuteness of the male leads, which seemed believable and not overly done like other famous supernatural romance dramas. The underlying issue of environmental pollution and other related issues also seemed wise, given the times. The drama gives hope and is quite philosophical if you pay attention. Definitely a bold attempt in the genre, as the plot keeps shifting attention from the main storyline to other issues. Even the negative characters have their shades and reasons. They aren't punished, so to speak, in the drama, but reasoned with, which storytellers rarely ever attempt, as punishment is easier than justification and forgiveness.

Okay, so my initial points were 7-8 for the dialogues, costume, casting, acting, and music, but none for originality. The screenplay is definitely original, but the script was predictable for someone like me who never misses good Xianxia dramas about different realms apart from the mortal realm.

The story arc of the main leads is alright; their acting does make it impressive. However, the discovery of an original story arc for the second leads was a pleasant surprise after at least half the drama had concluded and the stage had been set. Their plot becomes increasingly unpredictable and captivating, consistently incorporating elements of surprise and an interesting story arc. After a certain point, I couldn't wait to watch what transpires, eagerly anticipating their next move. The drama has concluded, and I'm currently in my second-to-last episode, hoping for a happy ending for a very interesting couple.

Overall, it was a good watch, and the plot will definitely keep the viewers engaged.
