This is truly one of the best comedies I've seen in a long time. The direction is excellent, and it's clear that the director gave strong guidance, as every single actor delivered a fantastic performance. Dominic Purcell, in particular, was a revelation. We're used to seeing him in action roles, but here he had the opportunity to showcase the full range of his talent - and he absolutely nailed it.
The story is fresh and engaging, with clever references to the world of cinema. It follows an action film star who decides to try his hand at artistic filmmaking - a plot that mirrors Purcell's own venture into a different genre. I read that another actor was initially considered for the role, but in the end, Dominic brought something truly special to the film.
The setting is equally impressive. The stunning coastal landscapes of Italy are breathtaking and make you want to travel and see the filming locations for yourself. We watched this film on a streaming platform and enjoyed it so much that we ended up watching it again with our whole family - it was a wonderful experience to share.
A thoroughly enjoyable movie that I wholeheartedly recommend!

I don't understand the hate. It's a very good movie. It's sad that a few people drop the ratings. The director and the DoP have done great job, the production is the best it could be for the budget, it is no different than bigger budget honestly! Louis Mandylor is exceptional as always, and the other actors are great. Production design is more than decent, ok I don't know about the details for accurate weapons etc, but I really don't care, I wouldn't notice. I am not an American, I would not tell the difference, as an American would not tell the difference if in a movie about Ancient Greeks the costumes were not accurate.
The film was not bad. The storyline was good. There was a problem with the lights, it had excessive light for this genre, which was killing the mood in one or two occasions. The lead actor was doing his best, and I feel he wanted to take some time to act better, but the producers were in a hurry. I think this is why Freeman's acting was pretentious and not realistic, he didn't have time. There were some awkward editing moments, as when Freeman discovers the girl and not help her immediately. As for the final scene that many people didn't like, to be honest I completely understand the meaning, and whoever is from a country near Africa and Balkans, can understand. But it needed better direction. Maybe they should shoot it from behind his back, it would add to the suspense and the mystery. In reality, they should have mailed them to the parents of the victims, according to this tradition, but ok, it's a movie! What bothered me the most, was the music score!!! I truly believe that a better score and a good editing would have saved this !!
