What makes this movie great is definitely it's music and the cast. Kemal Sunal, Sener Sen and partially Aysen Gruda play a great role on the movie's fame. But in fact apart from a few scenes it's below average among its generation. Humor and tragedy showed up in balance but both are not that effective. Characters carries those tragedies and comedies alone. It becomes cult in Turkish Cinema but unfortunately it's not even close the quality of Neseli Gunler or Tosun Aga or such... As I mentioned above Ozdemir Erdogan's Gurbet plays such a great role for the fame of the movie. It becomes one of my favorite yesilcam song all times.

Even though it feels like the first productions of the movie were over exaggerated with the effect they made in a year, it is a great production, both in editing and acting. The most watched movie of this genre. When I decide it will be a doomsday scenario, I'm stuck in this movie. Although some of the scenes are too repetitive (consisting of the plane failing to take off, the building that collapsed on it, and the half-falling scene), each one of them is well-executed individually. Especially the beginning of the movie is quiet thrilling. It keeps you on the chair from the first scene. I hope there will be more productions like this.
