The movie could have had more twists and turns. Really, there's a single build up of lives of different people having their life's problems, then the twister hits. While not a masterpiece, keep your expectations low. What I like is that it isn't an overblown Hollywood blockbuster. It's scary in what it doesn't show, but what you hear, something outside to get you. In that aspect, it beats Twister. Twisters is more of a fun, popcorn movie. This is a drama with effective scares. And no shade on Twister at all.

There is the aftermath, of course, to show the destruction. They include real destruction video during a news segment which is what a lot of us don't see. Effective. Slow burn. Intimate.

Some people have very high expectations for movies, such as top notch special effects. They may not mind great effects, but normal big blockbuster drivel coming out of hollywood.

This film has a great story and the suspense is really good. Script is good to great, as are the the special effecits. Its unique as well and unlike any other science ficiton movie yet release to the big and small screen.

The film is full of surprises and not a cookie cutter movie where you already know the end of it. I was pretty surprised through the entire film: story, effects, sceens, the tools and set designs. Not to mention the great score.

Great movie with odd uncomfortable parts during the interviews. Nothing too crazy, just good, very dry humor.
