Clasificación de Elden_Lord
Background: I've seen the original "Cells at Work!" (2018) and "Cells at Work! Code Black" (2021) and 3 previous movies by Hideki Takeuchi (the director): Tonde Saitama (2019) and Thermae Romae I & II.
Verdict: A solid 7/10, I still prefer the anime version and ditto when comparing the live action version of Thermae Romae (2012) with the anime Thermae Romae Novae (2022).
Thoughts: It was indeed a treat seeing the familiar characters in live action - there was that unmistakable cocktail of goofy comedy and deadly serious 'enough-to-make-a-grown-man-cry' drama which I've come to associate with Hideki Takeuchi. Perfect use of classical music soundtracks as always. Recommended.

I've seen everything until episode 12 of season 2 (at this point in time, that's all what's available). I've long held the opinion that the best seasons of Seven Deadly Sins are the first 2 and there was no follow-up movie which is as enjoyable as the first 2 seasons.
If you share my viewpoint that the Seven Deadly Sins started off great yet encountered some budgeting/animation issues from Season 4 onward, then boy do I have good news for you!
Four Knights of the Apocalypse is on par with Seasons 1 and 2 of the Seven Deadly Sins. That alone should be enough reason for old-school fans to watch the continuation, it's great fun!

You get vibes from Lily C. A. T. (1987) and Cowboy Bebop's (1999) "Toys In The Attic" space-horror episode all while paying homage to Ridley Scott's original Alien. A love for retro-style animation and the Alien franchise is what this trio has in common - it's a really enjoyable 15 minutes which has been several years in the making!
The moments of silence in space and the little details like "The Fly" poster bring this short movie just over the edge. The Alien-style atmosphere is more palpable in this short production than in the entirety of Alien 3 (1992).
This needs a mini-series, it's that good!
