Probably my favorite Hallmark movie in a while. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters. There is a depth in this story and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. I would love to see more movies like this. I really enjoyed the ways in which this production goes down into the actual complexities of real life and real love. I'll say it again: I would love more stories like this one.

Production values are great. Costuming was spot on. Every character was needed and nothing was superfluous. I loved how the writers wove in sports metaphors with an occasional train metaphor! Not to mention the angel!! Congratulations!

A cute movie, all in all. I liked the dual story lines, I enjoyed the performances, and the production values were excellent. The cast all seemed to be enjoying themselves which is a big part of the pleasure of watching any production as far as I'm concerned. I liked the fact that Hallmark continues to acknowledge that gay people exist (since I'm one, it's nice to see). I'm sorry there are other reviewers who wish we would disappear. But that's more about who they than how our culture is evolving and Hallmark is following their audience, just as they've always done.

This aired about a year before I was born but I found a color copy on YouTube.

Nice, slow, and steady start to a new program. The themes are juvenile delinquency, absentee parenting, empty-nest syndrome, planning for a wedding and a new life... Typical soap stuff. No evil twins or shipwrecked yachts (not yet).

From a production perspective, this is a typical 60s daytime show. No organ music (yay!) but way too many shadows on the actors' faces.
