hey everybody says that it is a French film, yeah it was taken in France, produced by French producers, but look, director is Georgian, the son of the great Georgian director Temur Babluani, and the leading actor is also Georgian, director Gela Babluani's brother George Babluani. and in the film credits there is written: Georgia/France.

OK, we have figured out that. Another thing I want to say is that, this film has very original screenplay, great music, performance is also nice. Director shows his skills in achieving high temperature in the film. so, I suggest everyone to watch that film, satisfaction is guaranteed. I can say that this film is another masterpiece from Georgian directors.

This is film based on novel Konstantine Gamsakhurdia , It describes Georgia in 11th century, relationships between social classes, and a true love of king Giorgi and Shorena. the hero Arsakidze is a great architect, by a chance he has been trusted to build a huge church - Svetickoveli, Arsakidze is childhood friend of Shorena and loves her, but he hasn't right of that , cause he is Zuzumte of her , it means he and she are like brother and sister, the law of Zuzumte bans them to love each other, when Shorena is recognized to king Giorgi , he fells in love with her and there it continues to tragic final! This is the national film of Georgia, the actors Vasadze , Xorava , Megvinetuxucesi are the greatest actors of Georgia ,they play excellent, I suggest everyone to watch the film and read the book, by the way didostatis marjvena in Georgian means: grandmaster's right-hand.

this film is really fantastic! Firstfully I have to say that the novel is written by Georgian writer not Russian, so it is the main reason ,why this film is so fascinating. this is very good story about Masons, and it is really interesting. I like acting in this film, especially the actor Basilashvili, he acts professionally , and of course he is Georgian not Russian. I think it's a good drama combined with detective plot. the end of the film is amazing, maybe the film is a bit long to see it ,when i saw it , I was really excited.So I want to add that this is the best Russian film, I have ever seen, and advise all film fans to see it ,they will enjoy it very much, but when they will see, they must foresee that without Georgian writer and actors this film would'Nat exist.
