Nice cinematography. The rest was slow, boring, irritating. A shame, really. The entire family seemed accepting of the behavior of their coming of age sociopath. Or was the kid "on the spectrum"? I don't know. A pretentious movie that I guess was supposed to have some deep meaning, some kind of statement on society today? I don't know. The great reviews struck me as the equivalent of wine snobs trying to elevate the description of Two-buck Chuck.
The acting wasn't great, but the lead female was horrible. Maybe she was directed to be a ridiculous drama girl; in that case, she got the ridulous overacting part right. I thought this must be a first film for the high schoolers.
Yes, this was more like 28 Days Later, (which I loved) but, good grief, some of the characters were so stupid I was yelling at the TV. I WANTED that woman from the first episode to get caught by a zombie. And, yeah, the road rage driving was ridiculous and then, when the survivors of the two vehicles from the chase sequence were in the same diner, the guy being chased never asked the other people why they were chasing them. I couldn't finish it, and I suggest you save your time.
