Dabba Cartel is a gripping, engaging, and at times sensationally heart throbbing Hindi thriller series. A fun immersive watch. Electrical performances, modern day India and the current fentanyl issues makes this a cross between Narcos and Breaking Bad. From humble beginnings to accidentally getting involved, to becoming a part of the vicious cycle are everyday realities excellently portrayed in this mini series. There are business tips to portraying failing businesses dos and don'ts those make it interesting to all kinds of viewers. It is a must see from drugs enforcement to a regular movies goer. A short series of only 7 episodes make this a great weekend delight.
Classmates Minus is a soul searching, aesthetically superior power play from Taiwan. Excellent cinematography with real life issues and events would draw you in the story. Then there is the sparkle: the visual effects those are generally tickers for prizes. From black and white to color to striking visual effects. Another great aspect is the locations. I thought it was important for only real estate but mo ie making is another genre that can matter a lot and this movie shall reemphasize that. Acting could have been tad better though. The overall movie is so real that I didn't think it was fiction for a moment.
Despite the place's ill reputation, Heeramandi is an important watch. Essential for those with a penchant and taste for history or understanding of the elitst culture of the subcontinental region. The production is expansive, though at times ostentatious. The costumes, settings, narrative, aesthetics and direction are superb with political undertones of rebellion against the British Raj. True feelings of hate, love, deception, and betrayal sprinkled with philosophy, spoken by south Asian beauties will teleport you to a bygone era. Acting and photography are somewhat compromised or just borderline standard. Overall a fantastic and delicious watch that would leave you craving for more, depicting Lahore at its finest!
