I noticed quite many familiar characters from a movie called Boiling point, which makes it even a bigger coincidence that this series is also called Boiling point. The series mostly takes place in private homes but also features a dining restaurant.
The only reason I watched the whopping five episodes was to see how altogether predictable the stereotypic so-called characters would turn out to be and how many clichéd and badly over written turns the plot would take, and try to amuse myself while doing it.
I don't remember the movie been so obvious and full of in-your-face kind of annoying characters and compounded misery. Or maybe I recall wrong but at least the fabolous one shot magic made it far more convincing.
At least Dean was as good as ever. Also nice to see a familiar face from GTA 5.
If anyone knows any series about actual restaurant business, please let me know.

It was a movie of three sides. The first half (or so) of it was witty and inventive, with great acting that made the story and the characters convincing. At some point I even started to believe Dustin Hoffman to actually be 20. The dialog was laconic (which I don't mind anyway) with more emphasis on quality.
Lets call it the third quarter, starting from the big revelation, where the movie turned into a boring failed teen drama. At this point the occasional witty inventive tricks started to gather more focus that I suspect was intended. You started to scrutinize them more and they started to appear more pointless and embarrassing than before. And this development culminated at the end, where the movie became outright absurd.
The soundtrack on the other hand remained solid all the way through.
