Having just finished the last episode of season 2 I can categorically say this is one of the best series I have ever seen.
The cast, the direction and the whole feel and imagery of each episode is perfection. Gritty, realistic and amusing in places, I didn't want this to end.
As a fan of The Boys From Brazil I knew that it would be something I would find interesting but this was on a completely different level. Each episode is captivating. The changing of locations and eras in time were expertly executed, each character was superbly cast and the scenes in the camps evoked so much emotion. It is rare to find a series or film which is so well paced, no unnecessary scenes or dialogue.

This had been in my watchlist since before it was released and thought I'd take a break from Stranger Things and finally give it a go. The plot was mostly good if a little confused near the end and had some brilliant scenes (the cafe one especially) Left me wondering why a British cast were all doing American accents and felt that it came across more like a student project rather than a Netflix production.
It was obviously aimed at Black Mirror fans (of which I am one!) but I found it overall it was disappointing and lack lustre.

I had no idea that this film was semi-autobiographical until I started watching it. Having seen various trailers I had never heard of Jonathan Larson (to my shame!) and had no idea that he had written Rent (which I have not yet seen!) The songs are amazing and sung so well by Andrew Garfield that I know the soundtrack will be much listened to over the next weeks and months! This film makes you think and smile and then feel sad and I loved it! I so hope Andrew gets the Best Actor in a Leading Role Academy Award...much deserved!
