Since when is assumption a fact??!! Anna Maxwell Martins character Carmichael is absolutely pompous and induces rage in me I can't even describe. Carmichael makes unsubstantiated claims them as fact time after time. I don't know if that's a thing in the UK but she would be chewed up and spit out here. Zero evidence on Hastings all assumptions. Annnnd the writers I got a bone to pick with y'all. Character development is a thing. This whole season of Hastings acting completely out of character to his AC12 pride in his accomplishments. The actors though OMG Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure, Martin Compston, Anna Maxwell Martin and Taj Atwal I love her I enjoy everything she's in.

I saw this movie on an overnight flight I couldn't get to sleep so decided to give this a go. I loved the first Gladiator and was curious about what this script would entail. Let's put it this way when I seen Matt Lucas as Master of Ceremonies I got this vision of Vicky Pollard and hearing Matt Lucas going into a "Yeah but No but yeah" when I say I disturbed everyone around me with side splitting laughter is an understatement. BEST cameo ever in a serious movie ! Thanks for that! I always love Denzel honestly though his portrayal of Macrinus made my flesh crawl. But well done on his acting for sure. Pedro Pascal is always a joy to watch being that handsome should be illegal. Paul Mescal is an actor I wasn't familiar with but he did an amazing job. I would have loved to see Djimon Hounsou though. If you enjoyed the first Gladiator you have to see this one.

Honestly my giving a 6 is being generous and it's almost all for the writing. Between Mike Walker and Roisin Connor I don't know which one I disliked more. My husband says it's because they're the same person it's why they can't stand each other. David Hayman who plays Mike Walker is a wonderful actor and apparently quite a wonderful man. Victoria Smurfit is so much better in other roles I've seen her in. But the characters of Walker and Connor are just plain horrible people and putting those two characters together ...Geez it causes me to say WTF a lot while rewatching. When Kate Buffery who played Pat North left the show definitely jumped the shark. The Pat North character was smart, kind and such a considerate person.
