3rd Show - Saturday February 9th - Lorraine Chase, Eartha Kitt, Margaret Thatcher, Lene Lovich, Angela Rippon (who reported that "Joan Collins new autobiography is entitled: Guess Whose Coming to Dinner and Staying for Breakfast?), Barbra Streisand - Singing Why Did I Choose You ? and quipping: "Faith, you're such a beautiful girl, such bosums I should have, but my chest, look at it ! Flatter than a Diana Ross High note !"

4th Show - Saturday February 16th Mary Whitehouse, Donna Summer, Angela Rippon, Diana Ross & Mae West.

5th Show - Saturday February 23rd Zsa Zsa Gabor, Hilda Baker, Moira Anderson, Angela Rippon, Mary O'Hara, Margaret Thatcher.

This Programme used to be shown on Anglia ITV Regions on Friday evenings and had veteran comedian Dora Bryan starring in this LWT sitcom as Dora Page, a cash-strapped widow who has to raise her son Ronnie while working at the factory of Cannon's Family Sausages, run by Julius Cannon (played by Ivor Dean). The first series of seven episodes went out as Both Ends Meet but the second was titled simply Dora. On a regular basis good old Dora would patronisingly say "Yes, Mr Can-NNNNON!" and always seemed to get herself into rather desperate situations with the other girls in the factory. Both Ends refers to the sausages !

I remember the catchy theme song to this colourful cartoon series.The villain was Mr Fix and the heroine that Fogg travelled the world for was dinky Belinda Mayes ! each episode Fogg and his companion Passportou were in a different country and Mr Fix was like a Dick Dastardly character who kept trying to foil the journey but was always outdone by the travellers.
