This is one of my favorite Hallmark Christmas movies...for so many reasons. Scout is one of the cutest kids, Autumn Reeser does a great job as single mom Willa, and the guy who played Ketch on Supernatural as a romantic lead with an American accent? All three work so well together to create a real wholesome story with a beautiful, heartwarming ending. Definitely worth watching over and over again.

Ok so I love everything about Wednesday and enjoyed the first season immensely....except...the casting of Gomez and Morticia. It's like Guzman and Zeta-Jones are trying too hard to be people they are not. They are "faking" the darkness in the worst possible way. Everything they do seems forced and uncomfortable....not like the humorous banter from the original show in the sixties or the dark romance of the 90s movies. I just don't think they have the inner dark spark needed to capture the depth of their characters' souls. Jenna, on the other hand, portrays Wednesday effortlessly, in a way that makes her truly embody the character and makes me forget that she is not really Wednesday. I do hope to see less of her parents in this season as the episodes go on, because they so painful to watch that I cringe... Otherwise I really enjoy the other aspects and am looking forward to the rest of Season 2...

I enjoyed this Hallmark movie, as I love Ireland and love watching any movie filmed there. I do get annoyed at the cliche Hallmark formats but this one had a bit of a different angle. Moira Kelly was great and I haven't seen her in anything since the Cutting Edge, so of course, she looked older to me. The one thing that bothered me the most was the ending. The final scene was just abruptly cut off, as if the editors knew they were running out of time, and just edited it mid-scene. Otherwise, I enjoyed the rest of the movie for what it was-a heartfelt, fun romp looking for love and luck in Ireland.
