It is really a good movie, worth watching. Don't mind the bad comments. Some people does not want to accept that historical figures are also regular humans that can be wrong from time to time and have their weaknesses. This is well depicted in the movie alongside with visual effects, acting and casting, it's all well done. Psychology of a leader and it's effects on his decision making is an important aspect in this movie, which I appreciate. The battle scenes are peaking and it is nice to be shown the importance of the women who inspired Napoleon, Joséphine who would otherwise be forgotten in the limited citations in history books.

I was intrigued by how this show explores philosophy of mind in a real life setting. Like concepts of embodiment, make belief and pretense. It also captures the reality which Camus was talking about, the absurdism in real life situations. A situation can be so absurd that it distorts the shape of your reality. It is the paradox of fiction. You know it is not real but still it feels real (like some emotions). In addition, it also investigates the concept of how sometimes there are synchronicities with your thoughts in your mind (your predictions) and the real world outcomes (predictive coding).

I love it so much, and how Nathan acts as an observer was so funny.

I dont know why but all the time movies on Lovecrafts books are so trash. But this one also take the soul from it. It is like cheap hipster fantasy so called movie gathering or just to put it on a cv that the director could make a movie. Where is the terror and the suspense of Lovecraft? The mystery of the mythos and the unknown? I think this guy should change his genre of movies to porn or smthg he could do better in my opinion. I love thrashy movies generally but this is horrible.
