First couple of episodes are good, they evoke strong emotions, there's footage of twin towers and pentagon survivors or relatives, footage of the day itself. Some more dry but interesting history about al-Qaeda, then from episode 3 it goes downhill and is borderline unwatchable, so biased it becomes. Basically this is what 180 degrees of "9/11 was inside job" should look like. I fully understand the people on camera in the last three episodes, but this tilts so much left that America is bad, that it becomes annoying. War in Iraq should not have happened, but they spend time on it, on Afghanistan and paint pretty stinky picture of US and I am in no way saying US is a rainbow, but the bias towards that view is pretty obvious. As I said could have been 9/11 inside job take movie as well. 4 points go only to the first two episodes that drew me in. Disclosure I never vote right.
Movies is alright. Visually very appealing, casting and acting terrific, sound design is probably thr best, but the story? This is a very boring film, probably the only exciting thing about it is Tilda Swinton and the filming locations. With so much voice over, over simplistic and to a degree pointless plot this is waste of time basically. I really cannot understand how someone like Fincher would work with Netflix on this and not on further developing a show like Mindhunter. Whenever now I am going to watch Fincher work I'm going to rate it vis-a-vis Mindhunter, was it worth doing that instead of it? The killer is definitely a very poor entertainment compared to it.
