No. I don't think I'll ever get over Macho Grande.
There are several film references in this episode. Telling you that the makers firmly have their tongue in their cheek.
It opens in Bavaria 1944, the Nazis are celebrating the arrival of Cleopatra. A photo is taken.
That photo is the key. In the present day, Danny is looking at pictures of the castle to locate the place where that snap was taken.
One person claiming to be a student of Egyptian antiquities knocks on the door of an elderly woman. As a girl she was pictured in the snap. She tries to remember where she was in that picture.
Karim Farouk still seems to be pulling the strings and right behind Danny and Lexi.
The series is settling to be campy fun. It knows it is not that great, using time jumps to appear clever than it is.

Everyday is Christmas for celebrity festive curators, Dirk and DeeDee Dasher.
Only DeeDee has had enough, she hates Christmas and wants a divorce.
Dirk has made plans of his own and it involves some shock and awe when they do the Christmas light opening for designer Gisela Mott.
Instead of DeeDee meeting an accidental death, it is Dirk who dies in tragic circumstances.
Elsbeth notices that DeeDee has quickly run out of festive spirit.
This was a rather campy episode. It also had a whodunit element. Did DeeDee really reverse the tables on her husband and end up murdering him. When he planned her accidental death.
Some of Elsbeth's deductions were a bit of a reach.

Ace Crawford is hired by the beautiful Alexandra Rivers to test the security system for the computer company she works for.
Ace needs to steal a valuable microchip. He and Toomey decide to enter from the ceiling, just like Tom Cruise in the first Mission Impossible film.
Only it is a con by Rivers and her co conspirator. They have ordered the guards to be on shoot to kill.
They plan to steal the microchip themselves and blame Ace Crawford for the theft.
On the other hand Ace relies on his magnetism to thwart the baddies.
Another misfire, that is not funny. Only the characters of Inch and Mello get to be humorous at the bar.
