We are die hard Christmas fans and we really wanted to love this movie. We previously watched the movie "Genie" and my daughter loved it, but this here is one discombobulated mess! Horrible overacting, unfunny and wayyyyy too long for its own good! It could have been great, but the focus on product placement was just too apparent and the movie itself suffered from the zero chemistry from the underdeveloped and unlikable actors. The only thing this movie had going for it is Eddie and unfortunately, even that wasn't enough to save this bomb of a movie. Ultimately, this will be a forgotten movie rather than a repeatable classic. A one time watch is all this flick is worth and even then, fails at holding your attention. I fell asleep after the first hour and I never do that for great Christmas movies which this was not! All the reviews on Youtube must be bots as it seems its getting 100% likability which is why I watched it when in fact it was closer to what we see here on IMDB.

This was one of the best superhero flicks I've seen since Superman. All those haters in canada and washington state are full of crap, they don't know a good movie if it bit them in the butt. This movie had it all.......action, comedy, and sentimental moments. If your like our friends on this site who find something wrong in every movies then my only comment to you is either stop watching movies to spare us all your crying and complaining or Make one yourself! I just watched this movie and thought it to be quite heart warming and very inspiring. Go watch this movie with an open mind and enjoy!!!! Unless your old in mind as well as in heart and can't find anything special in a animated cartoon, Go rent yentel mo mo.

This movies speaks volumes about the reality children face in 3rd world countries. Venezuela is one of the wealthiest Latin American countries in the world, yet the homelessness, prostitution, poverty and crime rates are higher/or as hi as any other place on the globe. In this story we follow Oliver.............I youth mistreated and disowned by his mother and alcoholic stepfather. We join Oliver in a journey through the rough streets of Venezuela where the rules are.....there are no rules. Struggling to survive, Oliver must do whatever it takes to survive..........with the dangers of corrupt police, Drug Dealers, Pedophiles and the presence of the never ending hunger he must endure........Oliver faces a life on the streets that wasn't meant for even the lowest of people. A true great film that practically had me in tears. 10/10
