Wolf Man tells the story of Blake(Christopher Abbott), his wife Charlotte(Julia Garner) & his daughter Ginger(Matilda Firth). Blake & his family go to a farmhouse, deep in the wilderness. They are attacked by an unknown animal. As the night goes on, Blake starts turning into something unidentifiable.
Wolf Man is an awesome film. Director Leigh Whannell has given us a movie that ratchets up the tension throughout & maintains a dark setting befitting the film. The prosthetics are brilliant. Some of the shots in the movie by cinematographer Stefan Duscio are perfect. Christopher Abbott is awe-inspiring as Blake. Julia Garner is mind-blowing as Charlotte. Matilda Firth is spectacular as Ginger. Wolf Man is a must watch for horror fans. Though it doesn't match up to Leigh Whannell's previous directorial efforts like Upgrade(2018) or The Invisible Man(2020), it's a solid addition to his filmography.

A Real Pain tells the story of Benji Kaplan(Kieran Culkin) & David Kaplan(Jesse Eisenberg), two cousins with differing personalities. Benji & David go on a trip through Poland, to pay tribute to their loving grandmother. Certain disagreements come back to the surface, while in the midst of their family history.
A Real Pain is a mind-blowing film. Writer-director Jesse Eisenberg has given us a movie that's hilarious yet poignant. Poland has been captured beautifully by cinematographer Michal Dymek. Kieran Culkin is awe-inspiring as Benji Kaplan. Jesse Eisenberg is spectacular as David Kaplan. The effortless camaraderie shared between Culkin & Eisenberg's characters, is the highlight of the film. The supporting cast is perfect. A Real Pain is a must watch for fans of Kieran Culkin, Jesse Eisenberg & people who love thought-provoking dramedies. Watch it as soon as possible & I promise, that you will enjoy yourself thoroughly!

Nosferatu is a remake of the 1922 film of the same name. It tells the story of a disturbed young woman named Ellen Hutter(Lily-Rose Depp) & the horrifying vampire Count Orlok(Bill Skarsgard), who is obsessed with her. This leads to unspeakable terrors.
Nosferatu is a superb film. Writer-director Robert Eggers has given us a movie that is creepy throughout, has a beautiful gothic tone & maintains a growing sense of dread as we watch it. There are one or two well executed jump scares. The cinematography by Jarin Blaschke is phenomenal. Lily-Rose Depp is awe-inspiring as Ellen Hutter. Nicholas Hoult is spectacular as Thomas Hutter. Bill Skarsgard is mind-blowing as Count Orlok. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is great as Friedrich Harding. Willem Dafoe is amazing as Prof. Albin Eberhart von Franz. Emma Corrin is excellent as Anna Harding. Ralph Ineson & Simon McBurney are perfect as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers & Knock, respectively. Nosferatu is a must watch for fans of horror films & director Robert Eggers. It surpasses The Witch(2015) & The Lighthouse(2019), two of Eggers' directorial efforts. However, The Northman(2022) is still my favorite movie in Robert Eggers' filmography. Please watch Nosferatu on the big screen for maximum impact & I promise you'll be on the edge of your seat throughout! Can't wait for Robert Eggers' next film.
