I stumbled on this movie on a streaming service, think it's on Hulu, and decided to give it a shot and I was really surprised by how good it was. I mean, not a single actor that's been in anything really and they gave just as good of performances as you'd expect from an all-star cast. The script and dialogue feel very natural and the pacing is just right as they introduce more plot points and character development. And it's one of those things where you might not be able to point to a single scene or line of dialogue as being so amazing but as they say, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. All the pieces work so well together you get this perfect little gem. I can't recommend it enough. As so often happens we get all these huge big budget movies that end up being mostly boring and forgettable and then some people with passion and creativity come along and show us how to make a beautiful film.
This show is brutal! Okay, anything else? It's REALLY brutal! Great, does it have anything else to offer me? Did we tell you how brutal it is?
Mostly, the show is boring. They try to impress us with sudden violence and making everything dirty, everyone unpleasant, and portraying everyone as evil. I'll admit I gave up halfway through the first episode because it was pretty clear it wasn't going to get any better. The plot feels like someone from a distant country read some books about the wild west and decided that's how things really were. No attempt is made to be historically accurate at any point. The writers clearly know nothing about Indians or Mormons other than rumors and cliches.
Why bother watching this? Why bother seeing a show where everyone is rude and unpleasant to each other constantly? You might as well go eat out of a garbage can. Having a show where everything is negative is just a boring as one where nothing is.

Look, you always have to suspend your disbelief with this kind of show because if it really was this easy to penetrate past the best security systems out there, everyone would be doing it. But this show goes far past that mark. In this first episode they pull of a heist that is so public and loud that the take from it would be too hot to move for years afterwards and the police would not stop looking for them until they were caught (which they would be because their disguises were a joke.)
But the real dealbreaker for this episode and the entire show is Jai Courtney's character. He's a child and an idiot. There's zero chance any professional crew would keep working with this guy after he was stupid enough to try breaking safety glass by punching it with his bare fist and ignored direct orders multiple times. This is supposed to be a professional crew not a bunch of juveniles with Born to Lose tattoos on their forehead. I have no idea what the script writer is trying to accomplish with this character other than making him super annoying but any crew would dump him immediately. I wish this series was good enough to keep watching, I really need something new to watch, but that character on top of the other not believable elements makes the show not watchable by me.
