Guy Ritchie and Tom Hardy and Paddy Considine, yes please, what could possibly go wrong?

An absolute masterclass in acting from the best of his generation and a brilliant return to form from Tom Hardy who drags this drama along from scene to scene Top notch performances from Pierce and Paddy and a cracking script and we have another Guy Ritchie classic.

In my opinion it's not so much the story but the way it's told and this is told brilliantly The violence is way OTT but that's what you get with Guy Ritchie coupled with the black humour It's definitely the best thing I've watched all this year.

What a terrible waste of time What on earth Steve Carell is doing in this is beyond belief What an unpleasant unlikeable set of so called friends they are I'm so glad they are not mine When did they meet Why are they friends Who cares Why are they threatening us with a second season Why did my wife find it reasonable entertaining The trade off is I get to watch Landman Even that doesn't seem a good exchange Why do I have to write do many characters for an IMB review nobody cares about or will read Steve Carell must be getting some serious money for putting his name to this This is the end.

A truly dreadful account of struggle and desperation in 19th century Yorkshire where death and starvation happened on a regular basis But no , with a story and script straight from a mills and boon daytime soap within weeks the family are rolling in it With everyone trying far too hard to speak with the worst Yorkshire accent ever life just gets better and better If only life up north were only this easy in those days Totally unbelievable and ridiculous When middle class scriptwriters sit down and write this rubbish maybe just maybe it might help to read some history books first and try to make it a little more realistic.
