Once again Dylan Anglin and his crew at Smokeydog Entertainment have delivered.
Dylan has assembled a group, as most good directors do, of people he prefers to work with, and the results are always worth waching.
"Vignettes" is well written, the cinematography by Kevin Minor is spot on, as is the acting throughout, editing, music, writing, and direction. Here you will find drama, a few chuckles and some real scares, that all come together to provide a very satisfying watch.
Do yourself a favor and watch "VIGNETTES", and keep a sharp eye out for any future Smokeydog productions. Dylan Anglin has a lot to say and the talent to say it, and before too long he will become a very big noise in Indie Films.

This movie is about a contract killer in New York City who wants out of the business because he's completely burned out. He has, or had, an assistant (Matt Craven) who he's not spoken to since the assistant botched a job.
The killer (Anthony LaPaglia) wants no more jobs, but he allows himself to be talked in to one more by a client (Peter Boyle)...a very unusual job...a woman (Mimi Rodgers) who wants to be killed and is expecting him.
It's an unusual story, written by Gordon Melbourne and Mark Malone who also directed, about unusual people in an unusual situation, but one that is very compelling.
The movie was very well directed by Malone, and moves along at a good pace. The acting in every case is outstanding with the cast making all the quirky characters believable.
If you're a fan of Noir, and comedy, and drama, and romance all rolled up in one neat package, do yourself a favor and check this one out.
