Not an entertaining film, to say the least. Having said that, it is well directed and the actors do very well, especially Olwen Fouere, who plays the elder woman (and not the mother of the younger girl as many believe).

To consider this a sci-fi movie only because it is set in the future is misleading. More precisely, it is a dystopian story of survivors from a disastrous population drop, somehow tied to the decline of civilization resulting from the end of oil reserves. This is the weakest part of the plot, as there is no indication on how this catastrophe occurred and how this could possibly have anything to do with the supposed end of civilization.

In any case, the story is very slow and what happens is by all means quite predictable. No suspense, so the mastery of the director lies in the fact that he manages to keep tension very much alive in spite of a weak plot. There are some very crude scenes, so I definitely discourage any romantic-minded individual from watching it.

A difficult but unusual movie about the movie industry itself. You don't see many of those around, especially if they show all the cynicism and pull-the-rug-from-under-your-feet that goes on.

A comedy? Who had the bright idea to call this a comedy just because of some smart punch lines here and there. The script is good, maybe the best part of "Trust Me", together with the acting and directing. It's not an entertaining movie, considering the naive main character, played superbly by Clark Gregg, who really had guts to take the part of a loser, yet... well I don't want to spoil the rest. Nevertheless, he is the writer and director of the movie, so I guess he knew what he was doing and he did a good job.

There should be more movies like this,clean, hitting a hard theme, yet not leaving you wondering. Watch out for Saxon Sharbino, she may be the next star.

A movie for lovers of the cinematographic art. Weird, yes, but with suspense and an ending which is neither surprising nor dull, just perfect. Not a movie for popcorn movie goers, but for those who can appreciate the art. Good script, excellent acting by David Carranza, perfect photography and the only reason I haven't given this movie a 10 is simply because it appeals only to an educated audience, willing to go through the intricacy of the script. It is not a mind-boggling and boring film like many art-films, so you are always sitting there,wondering what will happen next. There is action and surprise, so don't be afraid to watch it, you won't feel you lost your time watching it. Jamin Winans is a great talent who deserves much more attention by the industry and audience.
