Quite enjoyed this latest incarnation of Superman if I'm honest. Even if it isn't perfect. But you could also say that about every movie attempt to reinvent Superman.
I can see what they were going for here. Superman has been done to death with endless movies and TV shows so James Gunns approach is at least different. The comedy really saves the movie, and the cast are excellent. Real effort has been put into making this flick entertaining, as its jam packed with ideas and is a fun movie overall.
But I have to agree with some of the nay sayers too. It's all VERY "Guardians of the galexy." (Which worked for me, but won't be for everyone) Plus there's alot of random nonsense in the movie. Alot of the CGI is questionable, and there was way too much of Krypto the (CGI) dog. Although even he gets some laughs in there. So at least added to the entertainment value.

Is the latest "Jurassic Park" a patch on the original? Or is it just another big pile of dino doo doo? Truth is its not as bad as the last couple of films. But that's like saying one dinosaur is less extinct than another dinosaur.
It does start off fairly promising. Going back to basics, and focusing more on setting up characters as they return to an Island populated by dinosaurs. There is also some decent action in the movie, and even a couple of intense escapes.
But the movie feels a bit overlong as it tries to be suspenceful and teases stuff that it never gets too. After promising to be a return to what made Jurassic Park work. It decides in the last 20 minutes to go back to being the Jurrasic world of the title. This underwhelming ending ruins the movie. Which in the end feels more like a random monster flick than anything.

"Heads of state" is "Airforce one" meets "The Hard way." An Amazon prime action buddy comedy that's a decent watch, but not a leader in the genre.
The action side of things is probably the movies greatest strength. There's plenty of it, and less CGI than i was expecting. It can all be a bit ridiculous of course. But gets away with it as its not all that serious a movie.
Idris Elba and John Cena have decent chemistry but the comedy side of things suffers a little more. There are just enough gags but some of the banter between the 2 of them just doesn't work, and there's an over reliance on some running jokes and puns.
