What happened to Family Guy?! It seems like they ran out of fresh ideas, and they are now trying to get away with mooching on the goodwill of other films. TGM has been out for years now, remaking it does not even make sense. To make things worse, it's not even funny.
This episode was especially disappointing because it's the first one in this seasons, and I've been waiting for something new for a really long time. I miss the old, comic version of Family Guy with evil Stewie and interesting plots. Any episode about his Time Machine and time travel was just fantastic. In the last couple of years, unfortunately, the storytelling quality has declined.

It's probably an unpopular opinion but BBC's "A Scandal in Belgravia" is far better episode than this for several reason. To begin with, Hunnicutt's Irene Adler is very simple. She does not outsmart Sherlock in any way, she marely escapes because for some ridiculous reason, Sherlock decides to retrieve the picture a whole day later rather right away. This, on its own does not make any sense. By all account, Adler was supposed to be a great adversary for Sherlock. After he manages to learn where the picture is kept, he does not act swiftly, but gives Adler time to act because she would definitely have realized that Sherlock tricked her.
Further, nothing in Hunnicutt's performance makes her "The Woman"--a character who is smart, manipulative, dangerous. I know the episode faithfully follows the source material but even that I always found to be the weakest of Doyle's writings. It never made sense why Adler "threatened" the king to use the photograph if she was marrying a man she loved.
The BBC's version of The Woman is more interesting, and definitely more dangerous and a better adversary to Sherlock. The story is far more well-developed and logical as well.

I have loved this film since the day I saw it in 1999 on two VHS tapes on my post-soviet TV. I have watched it since then countless times, but never on a big screen until now. I, once again, fell in love with Titanic as I watched it in the theater.
Titanic in 3D on a massive screen is the most epic film that I have ever seen. Nothing can come to the scale of it; every shot is made to drop your jaw, to blow your mind and give you most mind-blowing movie-going experience. Only someone as arrogant as James Cameron could make a film like this.
No film will ever dethrone Titanic as my all-time favorite movie.
