This was one of the best Turkish films I've watched recently. I found the acting performances truly impressive. Especially the two leads, Nilay Deniz and Kaan Turgut, portrayed the psychological processes brilliantly. All the actors did a great job. The screenplay structure was very well-crafted - although its complexity was sometimes exhausting, the many plot twists kept me excited throughout. The crime scenes and thriller elements were gripping. The cinematography was technically solid as well. In my opinion, this is a highly underrated film in Turkey. Even when I felt sleepy, I still wanted to stay awake just to see how it would end.
The themes of deceiving and being deceived, the masks we wear, our need to smile politely, and the process of crossing over to the dark side of human nature were all beautifully explored through dialogues. When combined with strong acting, it resulted in an outstanding film. I thank the director, the production team, the crew, and the cast for this film. It's definitely a must-watch!

Another romantic comedy with a copy-paste script. First of all, their meet-cute was so unrealistic - the fact that they fall in love overnight and then break up immediately, only to not see each other for six months, was such an inconsistent way to start the story. The plot and character motivations were shallow and cliché. While there were a few scenes that made me laugh, it's not a movie that leaves any real impact. I've lost count of how many similar plots we've seen since My Best Friend's Wedding. I know it's hard to find fresh ideas in the genre nowadays, but the industry really needs to move on from this fake relationship and wedding concept.
As for the editing and pacing, the families' attitudes felt forced and boring. I get that it's not meant to be realistic, but its absurdity wasn't entertaining either. The surfer/jock guy was funny and just absurd enough - I really enjoyed his scenes - but when the rest of the movie is so predictable and bland, it doesn't save it. The leads were attractive and charismatic, and they pretty much carried the whole thing. Other than that, it's the kind of film you watch with your partner when you don't want to think too much. I just hope the film industry eventually drops this fake relationship and wedding theme for good.
