Like the man said, I'd like the time back I spent watching this. Most amusing to me was the amount of time spent with the two of them in the car, and the rear window chroma or CGI which reminded me of the "Toonces the Driving Cat" skits on SNL. It's no wonder they didn't list filming locations, most of this could have been done in someone's garage.
And way to take one more smack at post katrina nawlins, folks.
People who know me will recall I often say there is no such thing as a bad pizza or a bad movie.
I have to strike that last part now.
This is a stinker.

Part of the genius of the Coens is their ability to capture the minutia of regional humor, and expand it to the size of the large screen. They did this in Fargo, lampooning my native state of Minnesota perfectly. I saw it when it opened in Hong Kong, and I was the only one in the theater laughing.
Reading these other reviews, having just watched the movie, (and apparently the only person laughing, amongst the reviewers), I must be the only person posting who is living in the Southeastern Louisiana/Mississippi area.
The Coen brothers have once again captured a localized essence and brought to the forefront for all the world to enjoy.
Apparently, a good portion of the world missed the joke.
Not me. Thanks, Coens.
