U Turn (1997) Directed by Oliver Stone Starring Sean Penn, Jennifer Lopez, Nick Nolte, Powers Boothe, Claire Danes, Joaquin Phoenix, Billy Bob Thorton, and Jon Voight Rated R for Strong Violence, Sexuality, and Langauge Approx: 125 minutes (2 hours and 4 minutes)
U Turn starts out, when a loser Bobby Cooper (Sean Penn-Mystic River) is driving out in the middle of nowhere and all of a sudden his radiator hose gets busted, so he goes to a small town called Superior. There he is greeted by many bizarre people such as Darell, the greasy mechanic who does bad work (Billy Bob Thorton- Sling Blade), Toby N. Tucker (Joaquin Phoenix- Signs) his girl Jenny (Claire Danes- Terminator 3),and The Blind Man (Jon Voight- Mission Impossible). Through out the movie, Bobby is robbed, beaten, lied to, and still seems he hasn't gotten any further than he started. U Turn is an excellent film that I trully enjoy and others should too. 5/5 on performances 5/5 on plot 5/5 on ending (great ending)

This is an excellent movie and is defentely one of my favorites. There are alot of actors in this film that were really unkown then and are big now. The cast consist of Christian Slater (Windtalkers), Patrica Arquette (Stigmata),Dennis Hopper(Knockaround Guys),Val Kilmer (The Salton Sea),Gary Oldman (Hannibal),Brad Pitt (Se7en), and Christopher Walken (Pulp Fiction). Theres also alot of supporting roles with Tom Sizemore and Chris Penn and even a small part with Sameul L. Jackson. There is tons of violence and also a very good climatic ending. Directed by Tony Scott (Top Gun)and written by Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction) they both show some of there styles such as Scott's great action sequences and Tarantino's great dialouge. 5/5 stars

This game is great. Its alot like the 1984 classic "Red Dawn". Freedom Fighters is about the Soviet Union takes over New York and the main character Chris Stone starts a resistance and have a rebel base underground. At the start of the game you'll see other resistance men and women but you can only command two of them, but don't worry throughout the game you get something called charisma and if you do good things (ie heal civilians, blow up helipads, etc) you can recruit more freedom fighters intill you get full charisma and can recruit up to twelve fighters. Its cool because then you can have a full on war. This game offers cool weapons such as the Revolver and AK-47 and the graphics are awesome as well. So for any of you thought Red Dawn would make a good videogame heres your chance to play it except its alittle different. 5/5 stars
