Age of Mythology Retold is a hybrid of remake and remaster. Essentially, the game feels just as you remember it-and it looks as beautiful as you remember, too. In fact, it's a stunning remaster of the original, without feeling out of place. It looks great, plays well, and runs smoothly. The campaigns are among the best the RTS genre has to offer.
Age of Mythology offers a unique depth through its mythical units and god powers that you won't find anywhere else. And let's be honest: THIS is how a remaster should look and feel! Microsoft has already proven with the Definitive Editions of the old Age of Empires titles that they understand the concept of "remaster," but somehow this one takes it to another level.
I highly recommend it not just for old fans, but for anyone who enjoys RTS games.

Hogwarts Legacy and it's extremely detailed, lovely crafted game world looks stunning. That's immediately noticeable to anyone. But does it offer more? In my opinion, absolutely. Exploring, solving puzzles, uncovering secrets, and collecting items are all very enjoyable. Additionally, there's a solid main story with good side quests that usually fit together nicely. Sure, it doesn't have the writing quality of The Witcher 3, but I still had a lot of fun. Some side quests are fetch quests, but that didn't bother me too much.
The combat system is really well done, providing a satisfying depth (if you want it) and a high variety of options. Even the unforgivable curses are included! Great. Of course, there are a few drawbacks: character creation could be better (mods can help with this), and I'd love to see more quests in the sequel that delve deeper. Also, the beautifully designed game world could be a bit more interactive and lively. Overall, though, Hogwarts Legacy is a fantastic game and a must-play for all fans of the Wizarding World.
Performance has improved for me as well. While my i7 8700k with a 3070 (especially due to the outdated CPU) struggled with a bit of stuttering, I can now play the game smoothly on maximum settings with my i7 14700k and 4070 Super without any stuttering. I also haven't experienced any crashes.
I 100% recommend playing the game with a controller, even though mouse and keyboard work pretty well - just make sure to adjust the keybinds as needed.
I highly recommend it just for the exploration, puzzles, game world, and story!

I found out about this game by accident and was surprised at how many people play it and how good the reviews are. When I looked at the screenshots, I wasn't expecting much - other than a nice looking casual game.
However, holy kitten, I was completely surprised. The game offers incredible depth, a pleasantly light story with innovative gameplay elements that are simply incredibly fun. Basically, the gameplay loop is divided into diving and fishing as well as managing the sushi restaurant. That sounds very simple at first, but there is a lot of content and you can tell that this game is a creation of passion. There are so many details and little things to discover.
Dave the Diver perfects the balancing between relaxed, motivating and challenging without getting too much or too little. The pacing is also great since every new game mechanic is introduced step by step in a natural and relaxed way. As others have said: The game is a vacation from many other games.
It's damn addictive because it's just really fun to play. The best game to chill without getting bored at all.
