Don't know what it is with some of these reviews they could'nt have been watching the same movie .This movie was alright i thought definetly an indie movie and i actually thought that this was an 80's movie because they seemed pretty accurate with the 80's synths and the general look of the film etc. I thought it was quite original .Took me a while to grasp the concept because the movie is told in flash back i thought that it was clever how the whole movie comes together. The acting was'nt that groundbreaking except for maybe the actor who played the kidnapper he was pretty good . Overall i thought the movie was pretty good definetly worth a look.

I thought this series was really good .The stories are well crafted and written and there is a whole lot of good acting from the whole cast. The main character DCI Mathias is a deeply troubled indidvidual but manages to stay focused on the case until it gets solved. The whole show has alot of depth and realism with gritty story lines . Plus when they do catch the actual suspect or murderer its the least person one would suspect. This show is not your typical hollywood flashy type police drama .So if you're looking for that you will not find it in this show. The stories are very engrossing and holds your attention right up to the end . The other thing about this show is that nobody cracks a smile in this everyone has a gloomy expression .

My wife actually liked this movie she thought it was a good popcorn movie .I on the other hand did'nt think much of it .To me it seemed like the characters were all going thru the motions plus it was really predictable you already knew what was going to happen .It was like a poor mans Die Hard .I'm suprised a major studio like Dream Works had anything to do with the making of this movie. This movie is definetly tailor made for todays era .Totally politically correct not a cuss word in sight . Completely watered down .The main lead character or the hero did'nt have a whole lot of balls or grit either. Not a convincing action hero for this type of movie. This type of movie has already been done before.
