I really like the movies that are based on the novels of Stephen King, like "Arachnophobia" or "Storm Of The Century", so when I saw the DVD "Rose Red" I just had to rent it, and I really enjoyed those thrilling 240 min of great storytelling, acting and drama. What I like on Stephen King movies is that the Director takes his time with the plot and doesn't insist to make a 2 hour movie which you will forget soon after viewing it. Like there on "Rose Red", they take the time to go through the past of this young girl and the owner, at the beginning and also midst in the movie. Plus, the preparations of the professor takes almost the entire part of the first third, so we really know the background of all the participants, and the cutting is great too. Just waiting for the right moment to cut and say to be continued.

So, if you liked movies like "House" or "The Haunting" you'll love "Rose Red", just watch it!

Hi, i just want to tell you all that Video Girl Ai is really an enrichment to my daily literature. I've just seen one or two parts of the Anime Series, but I didn't understand anything cause it was japanese with chinese subtitles, so I didn't understand much of the story. But later I found the translated Manga and I must say that I could keep on reading the story on and on... The story is well told, the persons are fascinating and the way Masakazu Katsura is cutting off at the end of each manga is just brain-ripping! I just can't wait to read on and find out how it's gonna go on! So for those people who enjoy the story on TV, you should try to read the manga!
