I don't mind bad CGI. It's all good fun to me. However, that's the BEST thing about the movie. The storyline is weak and worn out. The dialogue...I can only hope I'm watching an English dubbed version because the dialogue is awful. Reminds me of that many-decades-old space program for kids with the puppets. Adding insult to injury jury, is the excruciatingly poor delivery of the already bad dialogue. To put this in perspective, I am a big fan of 50s-60s sci-fi, Godzilla, and everything cheesy related to space and spooks. But this movie just doesn't "cut it" on any level. Oh well, on to the next.

Acting was great, most of the movie was wonderful. The A-List actors as well as the lesser status cast were all really wonderful. HOWEVER, the ending "twist" that was tossed in seemed more like a cheap bid to validate something so out of place in this movie....but it was definitely the wrong place and wrong time. The twist being so out of context and then so brief (last few minutes) almost makes a mockery by giving it a "oh by the way, we forgot to mention...." type of profile.

If you want to address an important concept....address it. Surely, if it actually had a valid place in the movie, it was worth more time & development?

The overall storyline MIGHT have had potential, but: 1) Acting is really bad, all the way around 2) Special effects are not even as good as a mediocre1970s Saturday afternoon matinee.

I think with decent writing, the storyline could have had a chance, but inspiration was obviously lacking on their parts.

There's really not much more to say except please don't waste your time looking for anything in this hour-and-a-half waste of film that might actually redeem it or the actors. It's just not going to be there. You'd have a better time getting your teeth cleaned or changing your automobile's wiper blades.
