OK,I make alot comments about Kinski movies,but everyone has their favorite artists. This movie is just fun from start to finish. And it does keep you on the edge of your seat. There doesn't seem to be a wasted moment in this movie; every scene is there for a reason. Just good film making and good acting all around. I think the title would make more sense if the prof's book had been explained in greater detail.
Before Kinski made this movie she had a comment in 'Parade'.It went something like this--'It's just a little Blue Blue movie' In reality every character in this movie is a basket case! Kinski does not like this movie. It's been the problem her entire career. She can't find a good Artist to work with!! That's the real story here. Someday Nastassja will find the right artist. And she will make the greatest political movie of our lifetime!!!!!!!
Looking back on this movie, I really think this was the most realistic of all the political movies Kinski has made. Paris is the home of internation terrorism. And I think another look at Kinskis' choice in making this will give her fans a better understanding of her artistic makeup.
