Just seeing this for the first time in 2025. I may have see this many years ago.

This is a very good movie. After all it is a perfect movie for Clint Eastwood in his prime.

The story is great and although a fiction it is truly believable.

While I enjoyed the story I was particular happy with the filming. The filming is bright and so unlike the dreary camera work we have these days. Scenes inside the offices are bright. Movies these days seem to use poor lighting as some kind of technique to creat excitement or interest. It doesn't work. Bright work best. I have stopped watching many movies because sometimes you can't even tell what is happening.

Also the background music is not too bad also unlike the incessant music and background noise in today's movies and TV shows that detracts from the movie.

I wish the movies and TV shows made these days could be as bright.

This is not a very good story. It was predictable and the directing was non existent. Why have two characters sit in front of a big plate of food and not eat any of it and drink from two cups that are obviously empty.

The fiancée is worried about someone getting into her apartment but she opens her door wide when there is a knock on the door and then goes back inside and leaves the door open. Who would do that?

I don't know what to think about the directing in movies these days. The actors do things in movies that they would never do in real life. Why don't the directors catch these things and fix them?

We didn't see season one so picking this up in season 2 is tough. So far so good. We are piecing things together. The actors are great. The characters are great too. It looks like the story is going to get complicated but that is a good thing. I like the bright filming which these days is hard to come by. Most of today's shows seem to be done in the dark. I appreciate also that there is not a lot of background noise and music to interfere with the dialog. The quality of the production is so important to me. Directors these days seem blind to the dreary lighting and deaf to all the background noise. This show is doing that right at least.

Well I spoke too soon. The latest episode, Confessions, had too much noise and background music during the storm . The storm noises were bad enough without adding senseless music. It really spoiled the ending.
