The movie kept me hooked from the beginning to the end. In my opinion, it is a good mixture of mystery, drama, and horror, and it was a bit difficult to guess the plot in the beginning. The twist was done well. The performance of the main characters deserve applauds. It was well-produced with good cinematography, background music, make-up. The story has depth in it as a psychological thriller. It makes sense although the very ending might be a bit hard to understand. But overall, this is one good film to enjoy and I am happy I picked this one to watch.

The subject of hypnosis, split personality, childhood trauma, postpartum depression are shown quite clearly in this film. If you are interested in such subjects, you would enjoy it. As a horror, it is moderate. As a drama, very-well performed.

Unlike a lot of disaster movies I've watched that, besides the thrill of survival and danger, is full of melodrama or boring stuff, Tunnel comes out an interesting film that delivers more than that. It does not only talk about human strong spirit to survive, but it gives comments on how politicians and some people in society do not really care about a person's life more than their big projects and their reputation, yet when that person became famous, they rushed in to take photo with. This is a serious movie, rather dark and gloomy, but it still worth the watch. It also comments on how one person's virtue (in this case, a rescue officer) can really do more good than government and prime minister.

There are plenty of good thrilling moments of survival in the dark, and a few tender moments in that dark cave when the man found another young survivor with her dog. I recommend this film. It's better than average disaster movie.
